John William Joseph Bechen, Jr

John J. Bechen Jr. was born on October 16, 1935 in La Crosse, Wisconsin and resided in Kent, Washington. John passed away on April 4th, 2019 in Renton, WA.  John joined the Air Force in 1955. After Serving he started working for Boeing until he retired. John was a "Golden Member" of the Eagles. He loved taking pictures and gardening. One of his favorite hobbies was Ham Radio and was a member of the ARRL the national association for amateur radio also known as ham radio. He was loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was very loved and will be greatly missed

John has now been reunited with his wife Geraldine Bechen. Survived by his siblings Louise Gavin, Bob Bechen of La Crosse; Children Steven J. Bechen, Matthew J. Mertes, Kathleen R. Krey, Susanne M. Allee, Roberta M. Bradley, Lisa N. Mertes and Michael P. Mertes. He also has 22 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 8 nieces and 2 nephews.
