Margaret (Margie) Frederick Obituary

Margaret (Margie) Lou (Cramer) Frederick of Covington, Washington passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 in Renton, Washington at the age of 80. She was surrounded by her long-time partner, William Byron, her children, and grandchildren.

Margie was born in Virginia, Illinois on September 20th, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mabel (Black) Cramer. She moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin with her family in 1950, where she graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1955. She then went on to marry Lyman R. Frederick and have five children before moving to Covington, Washington. There, she would have two more children.  Margie met her life partner William (Bill) in 1990 and has enjoyed spending almost 30 years with him.

She is survived by six children: Lorie Lee, Luanne Kinsey, Layna Pfaff (Theodore), Lyman (Skip) Frederick Jr. (Theresa), Lindley Frederick (Rhonda), and Leslie Delgado (Juan) and her sister Naomi Copes. She is also survived by her life partner Bill Byron. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Turpin, her brother Jacob Cramer, and her sister Carolyn Budwick.  Margie leaves behind a legacy of 17 grandchildren in addition to 15 great-grandchildren.

Margie was very proud to have been employed at Boeing company for 15 years. She thoroughly enjoyed crafting (creating custom light-switch covers, beading, sewing) and would often travel to sell her homemade goods. Margie became a landscape photographer in the early 1990s. Since then, her and Bill have traveled around the United States with their cameras, eventually landing in Phoenix, Arizona, where they spent their winter months soaking up the sun and enjoying new company.  Margie had a huge love of family.  She loved when all of her kids and grandkids were together in one place and enjoyed cooking for everyone. Margie was also lifelong member of TOPS club, where she made lasting friendships. She will indefinitely be remembered for her inspiring love of art, spreading creativity and love to those around her.
