Andre ‘Paul’ Godefroy of Kenmore, Washington passed away on July 29, 2022, after complications following a hemorrhagic stroke. He was born to parents Patricia and Andre Francis Godefroy on January 4, 1958, in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Shortly after graduating high school in Dallas, Texas, he enlisted in the US Navy where he served ten years. During his time there, he found his true calling which was specializing in aviation. He also found his love, Virginia, while serving, who he later married, and they shared three children together. After being honorably discharged, he was hired on with The Boeing Company and dedicated over thirty years to his career there.
Paul was very family oriented. He was survived by his mother Patricia, wife Virginia, grandson Nolan, daughter Denise, son-in-law Mark, granddaughter Makena, daughter Lillian, and stepson Danilo.
Paul had many interests. He was very active in his grandson’s baseball and enjoyed cooking with his electric smoker. He was most inspired when relaxing and listening to music in the Mexico sunset, where he happily retired and spent his final days.
Please join us for the veteran’s service and burial with honors at Tahoma National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. on August 30, 2022.
