Donald Austin Pennington Jr., In Loving Memory, Born December 21, 1945 – Died November 4, 2020, is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Linda Faye Peters Pennington, daughters Cyndie Gann & Christine Pennington, sons Donald & Daniel Pennington, 8 grandchildren, 7 Great-grandchildren, Brother to David, Veretta and Christine, uncle to 5 nephews and 2 nieces and many great nieces and nephews. He was an Eagle Scout turned proud Vietnam Veteran who served on the front line and believed in serving his country. Believed that family and community were the most important things in life and always said he was having a FANTASTIC day. Coached multiple sports for over 50 years in the Kent/Covington area, always believed that every child should have the opportunity to play. Volunteered whenever he could, and was always there when he was needed. He will be greatly missed. Celebration of his life will be held in the future when it is safe for us to be together again.
