Fedencio C. Bacungan

Fedencio Cavinta Bacungan, 83 died January 7th, 2022 peacefully with his family at home in Seattle, WA. 

 

He was born in Sampaloc Manila, Philippines on July 5th, 1938. He attended Mapua Technical Institute with a Bachelor Of Science In Mechanical Engineering. He married Faustina Montenegro Jarabe on August 20th, 1963 and they had 4 children Fernando, Jocelyn, Judith and Franklin all graduates from the University of Washington. He immigrated to Seattle, WA on August 20th, 1969. He worked as a Welder for Lockheed and was a taxi driver for STITA for 24 years.He was an avid traveler, archivist, loved working on cars, watching action movies, enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.  He was generous and kind to his family and friends. 

 

Fedencio Cavinta Bacungan is survived by his siblings, Purita, Charito, Wilfredo and Lydia. His children Fernando, Jocelyn, Judith and Franklin. Grandchildren Sabrina, Aniesa, Kylie, Justus, Jessie, Lexi, Alivia, Brandon and Sinta. Great grandchild Kaimana.He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Crispina Bacungan. Siblings Francisco, Adelaida and wife Faustina.

 

Visitation will be Thursday, January 27th, 2022 from 1 - 5pm at Edline & Yahn Funeral Home : 27221 156th Ave SE, Kent WA 98042.

 

Funeral services will be Friday, January 28th, 2022 at 10:30am at St. Paul Church : 10001 57th Ave S Seattle WA 98178.

 

Committal Ceremony will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery : 5041 35th Ave NE, Seattle WA 98105.

Pallbearers will be Fernando, Franklin, Matthew, Nick, Christopher, Jessie, Brandon, Dave.
