James Pleasance Obituary

James Pleasance was born to Frank and Isabelle Pleasance on July 16, 1938 in Cavalier, North Dakota.

Jim was preceded in death by his older brother Dale, his younger brother and sister Bruce and Merida, and is survived by his brother William, sisters Helen and Christine and Carol, as well as his children, Tammy, Angie, Jeneal, and Bryan.

James was married to Emilia in 1959 and lived with his family in Akra, North Dakota until moving to Washington in 1966.

Jim and Emilia raised their family on B Street in Auburn, Washington while saving to purchase five acres on East Hill in Kent where they built a home in 1977.

After their divorce, Jim purchased a home on 14408 SE 274th Court in Kent where he lived his remaining years.

He was an iron worker for 50 years out of Local 86 in Seattle.

Jim’s heart stopped from complications of Alzheimers on April 23, 2022 at 8:40 p.m.
