John Seale Obituary

John Seale succumbed to cancer in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on June 16, 2020. He was born May 10, 1946 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to John and Virginia Seale. He graduated from Glacier High School in 1964 and married his high school sweetheart, Linda Carole Laub, on October 22, 1966.

He is survived by his wife Linda of 53 years; son Keith (Jill) Seale; daughter Sabra Seale Braid and granddaughters Kyra and Haizley, and step-grandson Zach; two brothers Gary Seale and Robert Seale, sister Pat Seale Babcock and many loving nieces and nephews. John also had a twin brother, James, who died on October 4, 2014.

John’s career included service in the Air Force Security Service as a Morse Intercept Operator (1964-1968), 30 years as a Store Manager for Pay’n’Save Drugs, and another 10 years at Oberto Sausage Company where he retired as National Sales Manager. John’s passion was golf and family. He was congenial, had a wonderful sense of humor and was always optimistic. He had a deep faith in God, which would never waiver even when given the news of his serious illness. He lived out his life with conviction that God has a plan for all of us and it is good. He loved sports, especially watching football and playing golf and his greatest joy in life, besides playing with his grandchildren, was getting out on the golf course with his wife for a day of golf.

John was buried at Tahoma National Cemetery on July 10th, 2020. Private military honors will be rendered in August of 2020. A celebration of life service for John will be held at Covington Community Church at 17455 SE Wax Rd, Covington, WA 98042 (Across from McDonalds).
