Kenneth Maimer

Kenneth Lavar Maimer, age 68, passed away July 12, 2020 in Renton, WA after a brief but aggressive form of cancer. He was born December 3, 1951 in Incom, Idaho to the late Alphons and Marjorie Martin Maimer. He joined the Navy out of high school. He married Gloria in March of 1975. To that union came one daughter; Maria Lisa Maimer in 1977. Ken enjoyed the laid-back lifestyle of retirement. He spent his time on his computer, watching his favorite television shows, taking cruises, and traveling with Cheryl, his family, and friends. Survivors include his life partner Cheryl Anderson and family; daughter Maria Maimer and her husband Michael Hackshaw; grandchildren Malina Maimer-Hackshaw and Mateo Maimer-Hackshaw; nephew Michael Maimer and niece Sierra Maimer. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rita and brother Robert Maimer. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private family services were held at Tahoma National Cemetery with Military Honors rendered by the US Navy.
