Rajamma Thomas

Mrs. Rajamma Thomas (Titus), eldest daughter of K. J. Titus and Mariamma Titus (Mathai) of Purackal, was born on June 28th, 1948 in Koipuram village, Kerala, India. She passed away on April 17th, 2023 in Auburn, Washington, USA. She has three brothers and one sister. Rajamma completed dual Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry & Education. She married Mr. Mathews Thomas (Sunny) of Parakattil, Cherukole, Mavelikkara on Feb 1st, 1971. She was blessed with 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She was a Govt. High School teacher in Kochi, Kerala where she taught Physics and English. She immigrated to the USA on Feb 9th 1992 along with the family.
She was an active member of church and engaged in various capacities though years (ranging from Sunday school to Senior Citizen Organization). She connected well with all age groups. She loved flowers, listening to music & was very proud of her family and family values.
She will be greatly missed by her family especially grandchildren Anita, Alex and Joel. She is remembered by everyone for her kindness, gentleness and smile. She gave huge importance to relationship-building (family and friends alike). Even with all the health challenges lately, she constantly kept in touch with people and showed great hope and optimism.
As a family, we are grateful for her life & the love and support she received during her lifetime.
