Wallace (Wally) F. Gaytan
Wallace (Wally) F. Gaytan of Kent, Washington, passed away on August 29, 2022, at the age of 77. He was born October 13, 1944, to Josefa Flores Gaitan and Zacarias Gaitan in Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Wally was the oldest of 15 children. He became a carpenter in his early 20s, building houses in Laurel, Lynden, Ferndale, and the Bellingham, WA area. He later returned to remodeling houses before retiring at the age of 60. He loved building furniture for his family in his garage shop in his spare time. He took great pride in his carpentry skills and often reminded us that he was a master carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Greg (Gregorio), Johnny (Juan), Herman (Armando) and sisters Virginia, Carmen, and Rosie (Rosa).
Wally will be greatly missed by many and will be remembered for his sense of humor and his one line responses.
