Wanda Larson Obituary

Wanda Elizabeth Larson, 98 yrs old. Left us on April 8th, 2021 at home in Black Diamond, Wa. Wanda was born July 16th 1922 in CleElum,Wa

She lived in Seattle half of her life and attended Franklin High School. Wanda was married to Richard Larson who passed away April 1984. They lived in Kent, Wa

Wanda has 3 children, Daughters Frankie Williams of Yakima (late John), Carole Walsh (Steve) of Black Diamond ,Wa

and son Richard Larson (Debby) Graham,Wa

She had 4 Granddaughters; Maegan, Jen, Amy and Erin. 3 Grandsons; Johnny, Brett and Scott along with 8 Great-Grandkids; Lauren, Ethan, Carter, Lucas, Nya, Sierra, Lyla and Terrance.

Wanda was a very energetic lady. She was a homemaker and loved Cockapoo dogs.

She loved animals of all sorts, she would feed the raccoons that came to her back porch. The biggest count was 22! She also loved to feed the crows, and not just anything, but Peanut Butter Sandwiches cut up. She would tell us how smart the crows were. She was always asking her Son In Law to go to the bread store and her grandkids to go buy many dozen of day old donuts at Freddys. Her favorite hobby in the winter months was knitting, she made many blankets for our families. She loved to work outside in the yard, weedwacking was her favorite. Her son in law would call her name and no response, he always knew that if he followed the orange extension cord she would be at the end of it.

Her life was always surrounded by love. She was the most caring and giving person on earth.

She could be quite the comic at times. Many tears rolled just from laughter. She had a stroke in 2013 which required her to have 24/7care. Wanda lived her last 8 yrs with her daughter Carole and son in law Steve.

She always asked how the kids were everyday and that “Steve you will always be my BESTEST”

Over these past 8 years, a bucket list was created and she found out that she LOVES pizza and Mexican food. She started traveling in the motorhome and visited family in Yakima, traveled the Washington and Oregon Coast all the way down to California to see the Redwood Forest. She also went up to the beautiful Banks Lake up in Eastern Washington.

She attended her first concert to see one of her favorite country singers, Dwight Yoakam. Wanda also had a first visiting the Muckleshoot Casino, she spent $20 on slots, she came home with half her winnings. Her 95th Birthday was a big celebration, she was surrounded by her closest family and friends, they traveled near and far to attend. The theme of her party was 1922, the year she was born. You could see how happy she was being surrounded by the ones she loved the most, even her favorite Nurse Barb attended and brought her a HUGE delicious Chocolate Cake.

Wanda was a woman who was loved by all, she had the most generous, caring, thoughtful heart. She will be missed.
